Hello, my name is Rob.
I'm an Environmental Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) consultant, based in Vancouver, Canada.
In short, I do  research on  buildings, products and organizations to evaluate their impact on the environment from a life cycle perspective.

Do you need a LCA study that:

  • Earns the LEED v4 Building life-cycle impact reduction credit,
  • Meets the embodied emissions calculation requirements for the City of Vancouver Green Buildings Policy for Rezoning, or
  • Earns Envision credits RA1.1 Reduce Net Embodied Energy and CR1.1 Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions

I use ISO and EN construction LCA standards to meet the requirements of the green building programs listed above.   

Clients that need this service should contact me eary in the design phase of their construction project.

About Rob Sianchuk

I will listen to your LCA project needs and deliver an efficient best-practice solution.​

I first learned about environmental life cycle assessment (LCA) in 2006 while writting my bachelor's thesis on sustainable manufacturing.  I continued to pursue LCA research in a masters, and further LCA training from a course with PRe Consultants and internship with the Athena Institute.
   
In 2008, I began been providing LCA services in Canada and abroad for clients and organizations including:





















I was born in Alberta, raised in Ontario and currently live in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.  I have a Bachelor's degree in Wood Products Processing, Minor in Commerce, and a Master of Applied Science in Forestry from the University of British Columbia (UBC).

I hold affiliate positions as Research Associate with the Athena Sustainable Materials Institute, Authorized Instructor with the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC), and Adjunct Professor at the University of British Columbia (UBC).
